As I said the game was alot different, but like any team when your working hard and you end up giving away a goal like that it can be very deflating for any team but we were not the same after that. Once again though before that own goal we had many chances to put the game away and we didn't. The refereeing was a tad better but he allowed the game to get away from him that resulted in some great oscar worthy dives by CTSA and there coach, if I can call him that, using very unproffesional language towards our coach. In the end it was a hard faught win by CTSA and they beat us twice and no one can take that away from them but when the season is over they will finish beneath us as they always do. Cheers!

Great win Cantona, I have been saying for a few years that your team will eventually start to gain experience and become respected in this division. Those past two results prove that. Allot of build up to this game,I was awaiting this result. GS B 2 Hellinics 1 Restart after a GS player went down with an injury. Drop ball was given to the GS player to serve it back from just in the center. The Hellenics goalie touches it in the net. Goal right, even though the GS player should have kicked out for a goal kick. The ball had been dropped and play restarted... wrong, the referee was soooooo confused he called the goal back and did the entire play all over again. At the time the game was 2-0. Although illegal what he did, I think everyone was OK with it! olympiakos dominated the first half with possession and chances. 1st goal for olympiakos came on a brilliant ball by the defender springing the center half who unleashed an unstoppable shot. We had a few more half chances that did not pan out to end the first. 2nd half started much the same until CTSA received a corner kick that was knocked in for an own goal. CTSA countered for a goal with a shot that had some movement to it which found the near side of the net. Olympiakos pressured and all sense of decent football was thrown out the window. Desperation soccer is not our forte'. It is a long season but dropping 2 games to CTSA does not bode well for a league championship. Referee lost control of the game from the 1st half, but wasnt to be blamed for the result. Cantona where were you??? I was nursing a back injury... X, i watched your game as it was right before ours. I must say if it wasn't for some poor finishing (none at all) the game could have swung the other way. GSb did play much better than Hellenics, but missing 3 breakaways cost them. Although Gsb did deserve to win, Hellenics keeper was the worst player on the field. Good to see you guys getting those W's. Keep that defense honest.

You guys are playing some nice ball this year, but I have always been fond of the CTSA team, play with allot of heart. I am looking forward to our match against you guys next week Sunday, we will be going on all cylinders. The few weeks off is good to get all the knocks players have sorted. As for keeping the defense honest? These kids play too much FIFA and only know how to play the game going one way, that's forward! I am going to continue to get greys if the marking does not get better.

Can't let the hating die eh Sweetfeet. Pathetic. No one said we were shoe in's to win but that we have a good chance and we still do. There's no need to count out anybody yet.

First of all, Newmarket won't finish better than 6th place in their division. That Red Devils dude is just not living in reality. He was all over this message board before the season started defending Newmarket when they were losing and tieing crap teams in pre-season. He then actually said that Newmarket had a good chance of winning their division. LOL...what a joke! I think right now they are in 8th place and 16 points from first place. Red Devils, you are a lot closer to relegation than winning the division. Give your head a shake! If it wasn't for Alliston, I would put money down on Newmarket getting relegated!

Newmarket 2 Barrie 1
I'm not quite sure what all the talk is about? If any team starts their year off not thinking about winning the league why are you even here? As an educated soccer player as I'm sure both sweettitz and Mr. 'loves to be penetrated by Croations' Its a message board. A message board that promotes a little smack talking and passes along information. You should know that a bounce here, a bad call there a season can be totally different, I'm sure you understand that? Three ties, that could have been wins if it goes Newmarkets way. that's 6 lost points. Maybe Redevil is a little sensitive? who knows? I predict a higher finish than six my friend and I will walk you right to the bank! On paper, best team Newmarket has ever had. A few internal issues as a team and we're good to go. Ease up big shooters! A lot of smack talk being given out behind some extremely.......cool names! Have a good long weekend boys and girls.
